Early this morning a woman stopped by my desk and just started telling me about her hypnotherapist. She said he is helping her remove her “blockage” and move toward what she would really like to be doing with her life instead of what she does where I work. She also said that she has issues with her womb and with TMJ and her hypnotherapist says that it’s because she isn’t expressing her creativity.
“The womb is the seat of birthing new creativity, and my jaw issues are because I haven’t been able to speak my creativity….” She said. She also went on to tell me about her childhood as a foster kid, her crazy grandmother and the woman whose back-house is her home.
Interesting. Certainly I applaud her self-work. But the odd thing about it?
I’d never spoken with her before that revealing exchange.
Strippers, hypnotherapists….neon bangs woman….jungle cubicle woman....
Where do I WORK?!
