I just got paid to go see the new Harry Potter. Yeah. Haven't seen the other ones but this was pretty stellar. However, I don't know how every child in in the world who has seen these films (I'm guessing there are a lot of them) isn't writhing in their sleep from night terrors. Last night as I filled up the bathtub for Little D I poured some bubbles into the water and she said:
"Oh no!No bubbles!"
Now why would a nine year old be afraid of bubbles? (granted, developmentally she fits in with our three year olds at church)
"I am really scared of bubbles because in Chucky v. Freddy the guy is in a bubble bath and he gets all cut up into little pieces."
Yeah and in Harry Potter a kid gets his face sucked off by a scarier looking creature than I could even imagine. See what I'm saying?
